Im Sorry Nix Jackson

“Two titles, eighteen years apart — patience is a strategy, apparently.”

Twenty-one seasons since 2005, two titles, and a gap between them you could raise a child in: 2006, then nothing until 2024. In between, mlev811 built the most aggressively average résumé in league history — a .469 career finish percentile, five podiums, twenty years of never once finishing worse than 9th and never once looking dangerous. The dynasty pivot suits him: 17-11, a ring in year one, 3,729.73 points across two seasons. Turns out the guy just needed roster continuity and eighteen years of therapy.

2025: 9-5, Third Place, and No Ring: The Hangover Season

The defending champ came back and got better — 9-5 after an 8-6 title run, climbing from 4th in the standings to 3rd — and got nothing for it. That's the cruel joke of 2025: he scored 1,792.66 points, a full 144.41 fewer than the 1,937.07 he put up while actually winning the thing, and this time the bracket didn't bail him out. Fourth place with fewer points equals a trophy; third place with a better record equals a shrug. Meanwhile the roster he defended it with is a QB hoarder's fever dream — five quarterbacks, including Mac Jones and Jacoby Brissett occupying real estate for reasons known only to God — and four tight ends stacked like he's expecting a Brenton Strange breakout. Lamar Jackson and Justin Jefferson deserve better housemates.
